Shakespeare on the Green is a non-profit student association dedicated to the production of open-air, site-specific Shakespeare or Shakespeare related plays at Brown University.

 

We provide the opportunity for the university community to get involved in all aspects of production: from acting, writing, directing, and designing to enjoying as an audience member. We also seek to bring Shakespeare to Brown and the greater Providence community through play readings, workshops, film screenings, community outreach, mingles, and other academic and social events.
